Reports that Saudi King Abdullah has given Syria a Bush to Saddam type of ultimatum. Reports claim the Saudi king gave Bashar Assad 72 hours to clear out of Dodge. I suspect, if the report is true, the king had taken an extra dose of Viagra or Cialis and got his two ends mixed up.
Maybe I misunderstood something about the war two years ago in Yemen, I had thought the primitive, barely armed Houthi clan defeated the Saudi military, armed by the best American weapons that petro-money can buy. The defeated Saudi military was led by Feild Marshall prince Khaled Bin Sultan, owner of the daily al-Hayat.

(I have never figured out how to translate this great and succinct American phrase: “The military can’t organize a piss-up in a brewery”.
