Impotent Arab League Asks for a Western Invasion of Syria: a Kosher Salafi Invasion……..
Rattlesnake Ridge
BFF “The Arab League is calling for a joint Arab-UN peacekeeping mission to end the 11-month conflict in Syria. In a resolution agreed by its foreign ministers and seen by news agencies, it scrapped its observer team, suspended last month as violence increased. The League said it was ending all diplomatic co-operation with Syria and urging contacts with the opposition. The League's moves come a week after a UN Security Council resolution on Syria was vetoed by Russia and China. A statement issued by the League after the Cairo meeting said it would "ask the UN Security Council to issue a decision on the formation of a joint UN-Arab peacekeeping force to oversee the implementation of a ceasefire"………..”
The Arab peoples want to stop the bloodshed in Syria and to help get rid of its Ba'athist regime. The ruling Arab potentates have proven impotent again. They are now openly calling for the Western powers to invade Syria to overthrow the despotic secular Baath regime of the Assad dynasty.
The absolute dynasties that now control the Arab League, nay own the Arab League, want the west to overthrow the absolute Baathist dynasty in Damascus in favor of ‘some alternative’. They apparently liked the way the West liberated Iraq in 2003 and Libya in 2011 and now they want more. The “international community” is now the fig leaf that many Arabs, especially the Western-hating but extremely opportunistic Salafis, use to make another Western invasion of Arab lands seem kosher.
They want the West to contact the “opposition” and support it (no doubt the West has been doing that long before the Arab League meeting). Yet who and what is the opposition? Which group is the opposition? The Saudi version or the Qatari version or the Turkish version? The military groups or the civilian groups? The former Baathists or the current Islamists? Soon there may even emerge an Israeli version and an Iranian version of the opposition.
Cheers
