Iranians, the Old Quran Story, and Loving America……….

“Following the Friday Prayers, thousands of worshippers demonstrated in the streets of the Iranian capital to protest the sacrilege of the Muslim holy book. Joined by a number of government officials, protesters carried banners displaying slogans in condemnation of Florida pastor Terry Jones, who floated the idea of burning the Qur'an on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The angry crowd chanted, "Death to the Zionist priest," "Death to America," and "Death to Israel," along with other slogans condemning the sacrilegious move…………”

The Quran threat? That is so old news now, about a week old, almost as stale as week old bread (if there is such a thing). The ‘guided’ masses should find a more convincing cause than some event that did not happen. Besides, how can a “priest” be a Zionist and a half-wit at the same time? The only reverends I know who are true Zionists are Pat Robertson (was?) and Baba Hagee. They just want all the Jews to convert and are betting the farm on that happening after the Second Coming. Jesus Christ himself will most likely wash his hands of the whole thing after meeting these gentlemen hustlers.
The Iranian mullahs need to get more creative. Surely they can do better than the old "Death to America" and "Death to Israel". After all, most of their people couldn't care less about Israel and they like America, nay many of them probably love America (tist doesn't mean they'll meet an invasion by John Bolton and Fox News with flowers).
