Oxymoronic for Profit: Glenn Beck U, Stephen Colbert U, Oral U, Arabia Deserta U?……….

“Funnyman Stephen Colbert took on for-profit colleges last night, announcing that he is starting an eponymous "university" to capitalize off of students. "At Stephen Colbert University, we put the "you" in "we make money off of you," he said. Obtaining admission to SCU, however, seems a daunting task, as Colbert detailed: "Stephen Colbert University is open to anyone with an internet connection and a letter of recommendation from Benjamin Franklin -- or two from Ulysses S. Grant."Colbert also interviewed political scientist Andrew Hacker, author of "Higher Education?"…....”
I may open my own U: if these guys can do it, so can I. Arabiadeserta University? Why not? ADU has a certain ring to it. At least I have had more experience teaching college than Beck or Colbert. Expect Glenn Beck U to open branches along the Persian Gulf, at least in Saudi Arabia now that Fox News and Rupert Murdoch are partnets with Prince al-Waleed (former one-day pal of Giuliani in 2001). Famous Western universities, both American and European, have opened and are opening for-profit branches all over the Persian Gulf, awarding “degrees” to moneyed elites (and masses) yearning to get a piece of paper with “Generic American U” or “Sorbonne” stamped on it. Oral (---) U never opened a branch over there, as far as I know.
As for Beck, he can also open one on the Strip in Vegas, oxymoronic drunk winners are notorious for spending all it fast. The drunk losers may feel the need for taking up a new career specializing in bs.
Cheers
