Saudi Village Discovers it Had been Praying Toward Tel Aviv, or Was it Karbala………
Alarabiya reports that residents of a village about 20 kilometers west of Mecca have discovered that they have been praying not toward Mecca, but in the completely opposite direction. They have been doing it for ten years. Once they found out they have been praying toward the northeast, the solution was simple: they reoriented the carpet to face the right direction.
Let’s see, a completely opposite direction from Mecca: that would be facing Tel Aviv or Natanya. Sorry, in fact it might be worse(er): they may have been praying toward Karbala, the Shi’a shrine in Iraq, bless their pious Wahhabi souls.
