al-Zawahiri on the Champs-Élysées, Blasting Niqab Ban………
“Al-Qaeda number two Ayman al-Zawahiri slammed France's move to ban Islamic face veils, saying Muslim women must hold on to their veils at any cost, in an audio tape posted online Tuesday. "In France, the pioneer of secularism, there is an overt and shameless war on hijab (veil) and niqab (face cover)," he said in the tape posted on an Islamist website. "What France is doing, which is spreading across Europe and the West, should prompt us to hold on to our true religion in face of their deviant ideologies," he said……..”
Okay, this “number two” sounds disgruntled, pissed at the French. But why is he complaining? He can go to Paris anytime he wants to and walk down the Champs-Élysées in his rags, have coffee at Foquet’s, even stop at the Lido de Paris for a bit of the “je ne sais quoi” they offer…..
It is the chicks, the dames, las damas, who can’t get into the Lido with their preferred attire, the burq’a or niqab.
I still believe that the French are being silly about the "total" ban other than for driving and at airports- and maybe at mainstream nightclubs.
