King Skips Bastille Day Celebrations, about the Burq’a Paranoia…..

True, and whoever heard of inviting an absolute king to a celebration of an event that led to the chopping of the head of another absolute king (and his queen) by guillotine? Not very tactful of the French (or maybe it is typical), just at the time they are banning the burq’a, the mandatory wear for women in Saudi Arabia.
That is another great American trait: there is no European-type cultural paranoia. They don't care what you wear in public. Okay some probably do care, but they grant you the right to do it, no matter how odd it looks to them.
