A disgruntled bus driver stopped his vehicle and allegedly sprayed gunfire Tuesday on a construction crew he was transporting to a work site south of Cairo, killing six laborers and wounding 16, security officials said. A security official told the state-run Middle East News Agency that Mahmoud Taha Swellem was driving 22 people, including a finance manager and a department head, to a site near Giza when he suddenly took out an automatic weapon and opened fire. Swellem, who had worked for the company for 20 years, was arrested at the scene. Police gave no motive for the shooting but it did not appear to be religiously or politically motivated. ……”

Do you realize what it is like to live under a stagnant and corrupt dictatorship for 30 years all of it under an “Emergency Rule”? It is like solitary confinement in prison for 30 years while staring at one man's picture on the wall. Maybe, like other Egyptians, he was just fed up after 30 years under a stagnated corrupt dictatorship of kleptocrats. Egypt is not known for mass killings, not by ordinary citizens, even the pigs were massacred last year by the military. So maybe the people are beginning to snap finally. It can happen, you know. Let’s see if they have enough pitchforks in disgruntled Egypt.
