A Beauty of Watermelon in Iraqi Politics….....
“The leader within the Iraqiya Slate, Jamal al-Batiekh, expected the next few days to witness reaching a settlement over the three Presidencies after the last developments of the negotiations among the political blocs. He stated to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) "The negotiations of the Iraqiya Slate with the political blocs especially with the State of Law's Coalition are going on positively," noting that "These negotiations reached the stage of agreeing upon the three Presidencies."……..”
His name ‘Jamal Batiekh’ means “Beauty of Watermelon” in Arabic, it really does. Wirklich. He is merely spreading the "bull" about an impending agreement, typical for an Iraqi politician these days. He looks good, for a watermelon, but as a human being, he is as ugly as, say, Salih al-Mutlak. No, I take that back: nobody else can be that ugly. Come to think of it, most if not all Iraqi politicians are aesthetically visually challenged. Starting with al-Maliki and Allawi all the way to Muqtada.
