Losing Faith: Interpol Chief Convicted…….

“A court in South Africa has convicted the former head of Interpol for accepting bribes from a drug dealer. Jackie Selebi, also South Africa's former police chief, was convicted on Friday of accepting bribes worth $156,000. The trial, which began last October, focused on Selebi's relationship with Glenn Agliotti, an alleged drug dealer who took him on shopping sprees………..”
So who can we trust now? First Nixon, then Kerik, then Giuliani, then John Edwards and Senator Vitter, ad nauseam. It is enough to shatter one’s faith in public figures. And I haven’t even started to talk about Middle East potentates and oligarchs, yet.
