Jack Bauer, Like Totally So Bush-Era in America, Emigrates to Iran……………
“An Iranian company is currently preparing the U.S. TV series “24” for the home video network. A voice acting team, which is being directed by Bahran Zand, is dubbing the TV series at Tasvire Donyaye Honar (TDH), one of Iran’s major companies working in the home entertainment industry, TDH announced in a press release on Tuesday. In addition, a group of experts has been assigned the task of covering bodies of film characters that appear in skimpy attire in the TV series. Nader Talebzadeh, “The Messiah” director, supervises all the operations of the serial, which covers 24 hours in the life of federal agent Jack Bauer, who works for the Los Angeles based Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU)…… The TDH has applied for a distribution license from the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance........”
Okay, Jack Bauer is now considered sooo Bush era, like totally Neocon in some parts of the USA, especially on the Left Coasts. But he has found a huge new audience/viewer in the mullahs’ Iran. It will probably be a big hit, as most American films and television shows are or would be if allowed. Almost anything American will be popular in today’s Iran, except for US warships, US warplanes, US tanks, and most members of the US Congress. They, the politicians, should NOT expect any flowers.
