Honorary World Cup Win for the Lebanese…………….
Reports say that masses of Lebanese poured into the streets of Beirut today after Germany beat England in the first elimination game in the South Africa World Cup games. Traffic was blocked as many cars, motorcycles, and people celebrated by carrying German flags.
Not sure wtf is all this Lebanese celebration about, and why for the Germans. The Lebanese are identified often as being of three main foreign allegiances: French, Iranian-Syrian, and Saudi. I have never heard of Lebanese with any German allegiances before. But that is okay, if you can’t beat them, which they never will, just join them.
