Egypt Security Detains Dozens of Protesters, CNN and Fox News AWOL…..
“Egyptian protesters say security forces beat and arrested dozens as they tried to hold another rally against police brutality. For the past 10 days, protesters have taken to the streets over the death of Khaled Said, a 28-year old Alexandria businessman following an encounter with plainclothes security men, for the past 10 days. A security official confirmed at least 40 people were detained Sunday. He spoke on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to the media……”
No reporters from CNN or Fox News? Which should piss off Egyptians of every stripe since it means it is not news when some Egyptians demand some freedom, but it I news when Iranians demand the same. Why not take Egyptian protesters as seriously?
