“Al-Iraqiya nearing collapse: Report. A member of the Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITF) suggests that former Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's al-Iraqiya alliance is on the brink of collapse, a report says. This from the Iranian Press TV quoting an Iranian news agency, so it may be self-serving wishful thinking in this case. It can also be true: these Iraqi ‘coalitions’ are formed for reasons of personal political ambition and are as shifting as the sands of the Sahara (not to be original here).
