“Gaddafi Named African Leader of the Year. The Leader of the Revolution Muammar Gaddafi has been named the African Leader of the Year 2009 by Africa Renaissance Coalition (ARCO). Gaddafi came first among 15 African leaders who were considered for the honor, Ghana's former president, John Kuffor came second, while Nigeria's former president, Olusegun Obasanjo came third in the race. AFCO coordinator, Mr. Sina Odugbemi, said Gaddafi was honored for his quest in uniting Africa. The African Leader of the year award is a concept designed to promote good governance, transparency in government, popular acceptance and leadership in Africa. ……”
Interesting: these schmucks picked the most despotic African leader, one who doesn’t even pretend he holds elections (which makes him more honest than most Arab and many African leaders). Amend that: second most despotic African leader.
This should be enough to give his old pal, that New York Rabbi, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, nearly an infarct.
