Al-Qabas daily reports from “highly placed” sources that Kuwaiti authorities have uncovered and disrupted a network that spied for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corpse. The report said the network spied on American bases and vital Kuwaiti installations. It said the network included elements from the ministry of interior and the ministry of defense as well as people of Arab nationalities and stateless persons…… Sources say that many have confessed to collecting intelligence and sending our military and sensitive information. The suspects traveled often to Iran on various excuses. More than seven have been arrested and some are on the run…..
There has been no official comment on this yet, nor has any other Kuwaiti daily mentioned it yet.
Cheers
