Lebanese Gaga and Hezbollah, No Singing Warlord……….

Samir G’ag’a (J’aj’a in Lebanese), no relation to Lady Gaga, commander of the Lebanese Forces militias said that the Lebanese Army is capable of defending the country and confronting Israel very easily. He made the statement after a UN report suggesting a stop to all weapons transfers to military entities outside the jurisdiction of the Lebanese government (meaning Hezbollah). He said the army can do the job easily, once it is the only armed force in the country……….”

I found this tidbit of information about this Gaga, which tells us something about Lebanese politics and thuggery (the two often, nay always, go together). That is not to say that he doesn't have a point here, or will have  at some point in the future.

I wonder if he, G’ag’a (J’aj’a in Lebanese, some Westerners spell it Geagea, which doesn’t sound like anything healthy to eat), I wonder if he has ever thought of dyeing his hair blond and taking up funky attire and doing entertainment. Okay, he has little hair, but there are wigs in Lebanon as I recall; not as many wigs as in Egypt, but they have them. Being warlord of a militia is not a stable kind of career, even in Lebanon, you’d be surprised to know. Even for someone who is a pillar of the March 14 movement (more right-wing and pure Saudi now that Jumblatt, its only resident non-rightist or quasi-leftist, has left it).
Cheers
