“Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad flew into Zimbabwe on Thursday for a two-day visit condemned by President Robert Mugabe's opponents as a meeting of despots which could further isolate Harare. Ahmadinejad, whose government is pursuing a nuclear programme despite threats of more United Nations sanctions, was invited by Mugabe to open Zimbabwe's annual trade fair. There was no official indication of any link between the visit and Iran's nuclear programme, but Zimbabwe does hold uranium deposits which have yet to be exploited. Zimbabwean state media said Ahmadinejad's visit was part of a drive to strengthen ties between countries at odds with the West…..……..”

Okay, an admittedly odd visit with few if any perceived results. Maybe he is doing it just to piss off the goyim (Westerners). But his foreign visits to odd places seem to be on the old Chinese model since  the days of Mao.
He is being sneaky about his visits to Harare now, sort of reminds me of the Bush and Cheney visits to Baghdad and Kabul. But will he return? Do his people want him to return? Will he purchase an old “whites” plantation and settle down to haggling with disgruntled Zimbabwean workers?
Cheers
