“Belgium to ban burqa. A parliamentary committee unanimously voted Wednesday to ban the wearing of face-covering veils in public, a major step in the legislative process that could make Belgium the first European country to impose such a religious prohibition. The full House of Representatives is expected to vote on the issue late April. The Interior Affairs Committee representing all major parties was unanimous Wednesday in backing the bill. The six parliamentarians from the MR french-speaking liberal party said the principle of "recognize to know" trumped other considerations in the issue……….”

I've got nothing against banning the burq’a; after all, in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan they ban pedal-pushers and Capris for women in public (they are allowed for men). Not to mention tank tops (for both sexes).
It looks like the European dominoes are falling. France, Belgium,……… What next? England? It is Britian that is the real yardstick: you know that Europe has really changed if Britain votes to ban the burq’a (they won’t). Who cares about the Belgians, a country of good brews and evil pedophile rings. Julius Caesar knew how to deal with them barbarians, and he did.
