Qaddafi Comforts Iraqi Ba’athists………….

Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi promised to represent the Iraqi people at the Arab summit to be held in Tripoli (yup the one in the song, not the one in Lebanon). He told a popular delegation (read it as a Ba’athist delegation) that he will represent them in the Arab League. According to this UAE oligarchy-sponsored website, the delegation consisted of patriotic (Ba’athist) political, military (WMD users on Kurds and Iranians), academics (former mouthpieces of Saddam), jurists (hangmen), and tribal shaikhs (read: available, make me an offer and don’t be cheap). He praised Iraqi “resistance”, even as he receives the Iraqi leadership at the summit………
Qaddafi himself was elected by no one: he is less legitimate than any Iraqi government these days, and he is comforting representatives of the old Ba'ath regime that prayed to Saddam and are now looking for someone new to bow to.
