Iraq Election Fog, Baghdadi Cacophony, Watermelon Predictions………..

State of Law Coalition (al-Maliki) website has following headlines:
“al-Maliki is the PM, and he will form the next government..”
“Sadrist leader : we lead the National Coalition, and we determine alliances…”
“al-Sistani chews out ISCI for post-election statements….”
“A Chalabi security tries to buy a member of the Electoral Commission….”
“Jamal al-Bateekh , candidate for the Iraqiya coalition (Allawi): the coalition will disintegrate as soon as election results are in….”
“Batteekh” means watermelon in Arabic. This may be a watermelon prediction, but I believe it is true.
Albaghdadiya (pro-Allawi al-Iraqiya Coalition) website headlines the following:
“European parliamentarian accuses prominent members of Electoral Commission of altering results in favor of Iran…..”. This is supposed to mean that if the guy is some European, then his charge is more credible than an Arab’s.
“Early results indicate al-Maliki ahead in two southern provinces and Allawi ahead in two northern provinces…..’ This is to make it seem that they are close. I suspect they will not be that close at the end.
"Aliraqiya list charges electoral fraud…..”
Alnahreen (Two Rivers) network (pr Iraqi national Coalition- Shi’a: ISCI, etc):
“European sources report an American plan to engineer the fall of Iraqi national Coalition in the elections….” They all love to cite ‘reliable’ European sources; as if that makes them credible.
“The American plan of reliance on Allawi’s Aliraqiya list fails, and Allawi is demanding elections be investigated…..”
“Marjai’ya (Siatani) spokesman demands election results be issued faster and without suspicious circumstances….”
Cheers
