WEF at Davos: CEOs and Piaf, Ils ne Regrettent Rien………….

CNBC had its reporter at Davos, with the byline “World Economic Forum is committed to improving the world….” Davos used to be the hunting ground of many corporate honchos, and politicians, who led the world down the path of near destruction in recent years. Not much commitment for improvement there. Davos is still the hunting ground for more of the same corporate honchos who are still around, after participating in bringing about the economic meltdown.
The CNBC star-struck star reporter was interviewing some financial CEO, and he was responding: “separating banking from proprietary actions……is my humble opinion is easier to say than actually do……”
His opinion, this CEO, was not humble. And he is probably right: it is easier to say than do, because he knows who controls the politicians who passes laws.
Cheers
