Saudi-Huthi War: Phony Truce, Real Blood………….
“Houthi fighters said late on Thursday that the Saudi air raids and artillery shelling have continued in the northern border areas despite the truce offer approved by Riyadh. In a statement released by the fighters, they said the Saudi fighters have carried out 21 air raids on the northern regions of Yemen. Moreover, the Houthi fighters say they've broken an advance by Yemeni forces in the Harf Sufyan district in the country's north. According to the fighters, two Yemeni military tanks were destroyed in the heavy clashes in the district. Yemeni ground forces bombarded the area with massive artillery and rocket fire, while Yemeni warplanes targeted northeastern districts. On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia demanded that the Houthi fighters take three steps to prove they wanted to end clashes: withdraw rebel snipers, return six missing Saudi soldiers and pull back further from the border to create a 10-km (six-mile) border buffer zone inside Yemen secured by the Yemeni army……..” Alalam (Iran)
