Earth to Obama: What About “the” Middle East Problem? a GOP Midnight-Sun Tan...............
The State of the Union. Mr. Obama covered Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, terrorism, security, trade…………. But nothing on the major issue that concerns Arabs, Muslims, Pat Robertson, 700 Club, AIPAC, and Ahmadinejad: the Israeli-Palestinian issue. Maybe I missed that part of the speech. That is the one issue that needs to be solved in the Middle East before all others.
Does this mean he is entering a Bush-style era of benign neglect while facts are being created on the ground in the West Bank and East Jerusalem?
Also, I get the impression that Obama now "owns" Haiti" as well, whether he like sit or not. yet there was nothing about future plans.
BTW: looking at the smirking Republicans, Boehner with his midnight-sun tan, in the chamber last night, it sure looked like a "state of the disunion" speech.
