Clash of Imam and Shaikh, the Heretic Sinner vs. the Salafi…………….
“Saudi Shi’a clergyman Shaikh Hasan al-Safar has demanded that Saudi authorities explain the insults and oaths mouthed by a Saudi clergyman recently against Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the top Shi’a Marj’I (theologian). Al-Safar called in Qateef on Saudi authorities to apologize and explain their position. Saudi (Wahhabi) sheikh Mohammed al-Arefi had insulted Sistani in his Friday sermon, calling him a fajir and zandiq (sinner and heretic)…………” al-Quds al-Arabi
So, this Shaikh al-Arefi, a Wahhabi clergy, basically a religious bureaucrat and sycophant in service of the royal family, hurls public insults at Ali Sistani who, no matter what you think of him, forced the US occupation authorities to let the Iraqi people vote on the constitution and vote for their legislature on time.
A few years ago, the same Shaikh al-Arifi talked about a Muslim conquest of the Vatican. He did not mention that it may be necessary first to conquer the prurient desires of the clergy and limit them to one wife. He is all over the You-tube, this sheikh. He even has a PhD, I wonder if his is in economics as well. Nah, probably Shari’a.
