Egyptian Asses Provoke Sectarian Tensions, Asinine Arrests Made………….
“A donkey provoked a sectarian crisis between Christians (Copts) and Muslims in a village in the southern Assiut Province. Egyptian website alYoum7 reports that the crisis started Friday when a Coptic young man was seen after the noon prayers riding an ass with the Islamic words (There is no God but Allah and…….) written on the sides of the donkey. c. The police also confiscated all cell phone sin the area in case pictures or video clips of the offending donkey were taken. Both the offending jackass and its rider were taken to the police station under arrest……….”
