Christmas Wish of a Former General, His Masters’ Last Great “White” Hope………….
This general in Saddam’s genocidal thrice-losing army is again advising the West on how to deal with the Iranian regime. This losing strategist notes that “defensive war” is not the only just war, adhering to the doctrine of Bush and the Neocons. He notes that there is much to be said for pre-emptive wars (presumably the kind of war he and his former master fought against Iran and Kuwait). He is writing in Asharq Alawsat, a mouthpiece of the Saudi royal family who seem to have adopted his strategy, given their folly of intervention in Yemen. He also fully expects an Israeli strike against Iran, based largely on some French reports to which he is privy and partly on the expected potency of his own prayers. This looks like the only item on his Christmas Wish list, and it seems to be the Christmas Wish of his absolutely royal paymasters, their last white hope. He exhorts the prospective warriors by pleading to the West “Do not be generous with incentives, for they do not understand the language of dialog…..”.
He makes the case, nay he pleads, for a new regional war to be waged by the West, or by the Americans, or by the Israelis, or by anybody willing and able….. so please go ahead and start bombing……..
