(I guess the methods used to defeat it and water it down by the corporate interests were quite savory……)
I have always though McCain a boring person. Since the campaign of 2000 I thought he was not as sincere nor as interesting as the media tried to make him seem. In the major important issue, he was never as mavericky as he was made out to be. On major issues, he has been no different from his colleague Jon (Dumb as a Door Knob) Kyl and others. Even the opportunistic and resentful Joe Lieberman is more mavericky now.
