“According to a report in Haaretz…….. Israeli officials said that the Chinese position about tighter sanctions against Iran is still firm…….. The officials said that the Chinese rejected a Saudi-American initiative aimed at weaning China from Iranian petroleum and supporting tough sanctions on Iran. The Saudis have suggested that they can supply China with the amount of petroleum it buys from Iran and at substantially lower prices, but the Chinese refused the Saudi offer…………” Al-Quds Al-Arabi
