“An Iranian court has suspended the bank accounts and pension payments of Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi and her husband and blocked her access to a bank box containing her Nobel medal, Ebadi said on Saturday. The suspended funds include the Nobel Prize money left after the purchase of an office for the Defenders of Human Rights Center, which she heads, Ebadi told Reuters by telephone.
