Iraqi Henchmen in Exile, Missing the Days of Genocide, Gulf Delusions...…….
This Iraqi, very likely a former henchman, is yearning for the old regime, when men from Samarra, Tikrit, and Falluja held millions captive, when they used chemical weapons and poison gas freely against Iraqis and others. All with the blessing and financial support of the Arab oligarchies, who got stung later for their troubles. Of course they also did it with the silent blessing of the Reagan administration and with the help of their state-of-the-art satellite images. This schmuck is calling for a restoration of order through deployment of Saddam Hussein’s genocidal generals. He sounds like another of Saddam’s former henchmen, General Wafiq al-Samarrai who has the chutzpah to call for a version of the good old times from the very media outlets of his former (Persian) Gulf victims………
Many Arabs can be delusional when it is convenient, and some have convinced themselves that it was all Saddam’s fault, and everybody else around him was just taking orders, like any good Arab would. Well I hate to say it, but like any good Arab of the correct sect and faith would.
It almost sounds like the 1980s all over again, with the tired Baathist jargons being repeated in the media of the New Middle East oligarchs……..
