Culture and Art: Little Mermaid Raided………..


“The Authority for Propagation of Vice and Prevention of Virtue (Saudi religious police or mutawaeen) has confiscated 25 thousand copied CDs some of them containing naughty (blue) films at an open market in Qateef. This came after residents complained about some persons showing and selling banned films………”

I wonder if the “naughy” films included such classic blue Disney movies as Snow White and Cinderella. Or maybe the Little Mermaid: it is a story of love, something these “physical” hairy guys frown upon.
