Churchill of Arabia, Rulers Who Think for People Who Don’t Bother………

Sounds Churchillian, until one thinks about it, and unfortunately many in Saudi Arabia don’t think about it. They are usually not encouraged to think about it. Independent thinking is frowned upon. And why bother thinking when the rulers, and their tamed palace shaikhs (ulema), and their mass media, can do it for them? Churchilesque except they are attacking a bunch of mountain tribal Yemenis armed with ancient weapons.
Come to think of it wasn’t there someone in another country who also thought for his people and led them into a very expensive war six years ago? He, actually they both, also manipulated the mass media.
