An American Eid? A Best Buy Eid.........
This year the Muslim Eid Holiday (the pilgrimage holiday) falls right after Thanksgiving. With the Sunday newspaper there were several advertisement flyers. One large one, a regular with Sunday papers, the Best Buy one that I usually look through. It was the usual one with one exception: a large print greeting that said (Happy Eid: Eid Mubarak). A sign of the times. A good sign in fact, even though most of what they call the nut-wingers will not understand what it is about. I may even go to Best Buy this Friday…….
Maybe I should check Nordstrom’s ad as well…..
