One Middle East View on Iran WMD………

“The Americans and their Western allies have never been subject to such deliberate clever insults before. They are used to imposing their full conditions and it is for others, especially Arabs, to accept them unconditionally. Therefore, they don’t know how to deal with the patient and clever Iranian carpet weaver who never wavers in the face of their threats of tighter blockades or war. Iranians look with disdain upon the United States, this nation that has no cultural heritage and is not older than four centuries. They believe that her power will wane, and that she needs them more than they need her. This play of the Iranian cat with the American mouse will continue until the end of this year…….” al-Quds al-Arabi (Editorial)
Actually I don't think Iranians as a people look upon the United States with disdain. There is a certain admiration for America. Even now, America is probably much more popular with Iranians than with Saudis, for example.
