Palestinian Elections, Saudi Elections………
“Why does Hamas fear elections? When PA president Mahmoud Abbas announced a date for Palestinian parliamentary elections, Hamas acted as if stung by a scorpion, calling it unconstitutional and divisive…… Hamas does not want elections now because it knows for certain that a majority of Palestinian will not for it this time because of its many sins and the coup………” Asharq Alawsat (Saudi) Editorial.
Interesting, maybe that is one reason why the fundamentalists of Hamas oppose the elections as called by Abbas. But why are there no elections in Saudi Arabia? Are there similar reasons for fearing elections?
