“Nasser (48) applied to the Tehran Family Court to divorce his wife. He told the judge that he loved her very much, but that he has despaired from reforming himself, getting rid of his rudeness and bad behavior toward her. He said that she still treated him with love and affection even during his outbursts of anger. He told the judge that he feels a fire inside him when she still treats him with much love and respect. He refused a suggestion by the judge that they live separately temporarily, saying they have tried that. The judge ended up signing the divorce papers….....” Cheers
