A Call to War, a Call to Bombers, a Cold French Dou.......Shower……..

Dreams of my bombers :
The United States would find it difficult not to join an Israeli air strike in the event that Jerusalem decides to strike Iran's nuclear facilities, a former top-ranking U.S. Air Force officer told participants at a conference this weekend organized by a Washington think tank. Charles F. Wald, former deputy commander of United States European Command, said a military strike on Iran could set back the Islamic Republic's alleged nuclear weapons program by several years, but cautioned, "I don't think Israel can do it alone." The former commander's remarks were made at an annual gathering of financial backers of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, who were joined by diplomats, journalists and analysts.............Wald said that should "our great ally Israel" decide to take military action to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, "pressure will mount for us to stand by Israel."………..”

Unpleasant Reality sinking in:
French army chief: Military strike on Iran not viable. The head of the French military said Thursday that military intervention is no longer a viable option to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability. French chief-of-staff Gen. Jean-Louis Georgelin said following a speech that he believes a military operation would be too risky. "It is very difficult to plan a military operation in Iran, because we are not sure that we are able to solve a problem in one shot and if you fail in one shot, it is a catastrophe," he said in English. "I don't think at this stage a military option is still available." Georgelin was answering a question after a speech at the Atlantic Council in Washington on France's new relationship with NATO and stressed that the comment was his opinion…...……”

FYI: French for shower is douche. Almost everyone in France takes one each day, almost. Even men.
