Islamic Liberation with a Twist, Topless in Somalia……
“Somalia’s Shebab Islamic movement has banned ladies from wearing bras. Women can get flogged (whipped) in public for wearing bras. Any female in public whose breasts seem unusually firm or protruding is surrounded by masked (brave) men, inspected, then flogged if proven guilty. They claim that it is deceiving men for women to wear bras and besides it is against the Islamic Sharia. Some women have privately objected to what they call the new ‘bouncy look’. They have also banned movies, music, and watching soccer games…....”
Of course there is nothing in the Quran or Hadith about bras. They probably didn't know them in those days. Maybe that is the point.
