Watermelon Wars, Persistent Houthis, Inevitable Genocide, and Narcotics in Yemen........
As we say on the western shores of the (Persian) Gulf: another watermelon communiqué by a watermelon regime, carried in a watermelon media outlet.
Interesting: “unprecedented progress” my eyes, make that 'eyes' with a Southern drawl. A strongly armed military, aided by almost a whole region, the West, all the petroleum money they can use, and very likely direct military support from at least one neighboring government. And it cannot defeat a small clan that is only part of a tribe. After many weeks of battles, and I think this is the fourth or fifth watermelon war with the same clan. As a rule, victorious do not resort to genocide. The Germans did it at the beginning of WWII, but then they did not last as victorious. These guys are no Wehrmacht, and the chewable qat is not the same as das bier.
Interesting how Arab oligarchs have made it so that the only opposition is fundamentalist or religious. What passes for 'liberals' are reduced to groveling to the oligarchs and their retainers, as a look at almost any media outlet shows.
