Saudis to End Censorship, Era of Suppression is Over, Soirée in Jeddah……..

“He said that the era of suppression is over. Minister of Information A al-Khouja is unending activity. He is like a bee that moves from one flower to the next. After a series of rich dialogues on his Facebook site, he met a few days ago with a gaggle of intellectuals and thinkers (including two ministers)..He said we should guide all these electronic media to the correct path, not suppress them........”

The only "intellectuals and thinkers” from over there that I can think of are either silent, outside the country, or in prison. They would not be caught dead in a staged dinner (or is it a soirée) with the minister who confiscates their right of expression.
But I like the part about “we should guide them to the correct path”. I can’t wait to see this new correct path; unless it is the same old correct path. Something about the word “correct” bothers me; here and in other contexts. It always has. I expect that in this particular case I very much prefer the incorrect path.
