“It was announced that the wedding fire disaster in Kuwait that killed 45 or more women and children was caused by a woman, the 23-year old ex-wife of the groom. Every day we read about similar “incidents”: a woman in Egypt sneaks up behind her husband as he is praying and bashes his brains out with a club, then cuts him up into pieces which she puts in plastic bags that she throws out with the trash. Such incidents have even inspired jokes in Egypt like the one about plastic bags being among the “must have” items on very bride’s list….with each incident we say that ‘she is not a woman, she is a devil.’……As I recall Medea was a sweet person, until a man she loved betrayed her…and drove all love from her heart......

Well. Medea, Medea..... everyone is sweet when young (almost everyone)….. Sounds like that poor lady in Texas some years ago, the postpartum one…and she was not ancient, Greek, or (West) Asian…..
Last week a man in Egypt killed his wife and children, then took his own life,but that was not an act of revenge....
