Jumblatt had earlier expressed regret at visiting Washington during the Bush-Cheney era, cozying up to the Neocons, allowing the March 14 (Hariri) to use the sectarian card.........
Is he going back to the “leftist” political legacy of his late father Kamal Jumblatt?
Notice how we Gulfies, especially the (Persian) Gulf media are the only ones in the Arab world that spend much of their political (opinion) space on Lebanon? That is mainly because there is not much to talk about at home: you can't criticize king-so-and-so, or oligarch whatishisface without ending up in trouble. Lebanon is safe, and.........exciting. It is safer to stick to Nasrallah, Jumblatt, Berri, even Hariri and his silly goatee.
