Clever way for this leading Saudi cleric and Islamist to keep his own fundamentalist arse safe from the wrath of the Saudi royals, while keeping the support of his groupies within the Kingdom. This way he can have his cake and eat it too.
Alarabiya, the Saudi network which interviewed him, did not bother to ask him how he felt about the terrorist acts in Iraq. The shaikh did not volunteer how he feels about the daily bombings and massacres of Shi’as in Baghdad, Mosul, etc. Presumably that is not considered criminal and terrorist bombing by his hairiness.
The shaikh also firmly and famously believes that under the bed of every U.S. official lurks a Jew.
