August 2: Rewriting Persian Gulf History the Wikipedia Way

Rewriting history of the Iran-Iraq war:

Saddam and Iran both continued this ar. After it was finished, Saddam’s popularity had waned. He was in trouble, so he turned his attentions toward Kuwait, which had supported him politically and militarily because Iran had started the aggression according to international reports……”

Rewriting history of the first Persian Gulf War:
The invading cowardly forces were 88 thousands of naked barefoot barbarians, and the defending forces were 16 thousand, most of whom were on vacation (?). This was the opportunity for the cowards to attack with treachery. This is a shame for Iraq, which centuries will not erase, which we will never forget…..

According to Wikipedia(I love this one), in spite their treachery, Iraq suffered 295 dead and 361 wounded…..lost 13 helicopters...seven jet fighters shot down….seven missile-firing warship..120 tanks and 18 troop carriers of their barbarian soldiers…..This was a true defeat for the Iraqi forces on that day…Such an invasion will never happen again, for our military technology is superior….....ad nauseam
Rewriting history the Wikipedia way.

My son once used Wikipedia as a cited source for a college paper when he was a freshman, and his professor nearly failed him for doing such a silly thing. But some Gulf media can get away with it, because some of them are apparently run buy F-heads (I know, not a very scholarly thing to say. but.....
