On Health Care, United Health, Louisiana Governor 'Expletive', and Abe Lincoln

Watched Louisiana Gov Bobby (Sad Sack) Jindal (R) on CNN. He was talking about health care proposals. Almost every sentence he uttered had the word ‘government’ in it, some sentences twice. He spat out ‘government’ as if he was mentioning the KKK or the Waffen-SS. As if ‘government’ were an expletive of the (@!#%$^&#!!) type. Imagine Abe Lincoln’s: @!#%$^&#!! of the people, by the people, for the people.

He was soon interrupted by a pharmaceutical corporation: the guy who had a ‘going problem’, you know the one with an enlarged prostate who keeps missing all the highlights of the outings…..

That was Louisiana ‘Governor’ Jindal, a presidential hopeful (I don’t think he’ll get even close to it). Maybe he should change his title from ’Governor’ to ‘First Opponent’, or even to ‘First @!#%$^&#!!’.

He did extol the virtue of the status quo by quoting the largest health insurance giant, United Health, through some study they had sponsored and financed. Wolf Blitzer mentioned that connection in his quite, shy way.

Besides, he is skinny and too dark in the wrong way, the natural way, not by use of a sunlamp a la Minority Leader Rep. Boehner, not the type of president you envision if you regularly listen to the fat squad of Limbaugh and Beck.
Cheers
