Little Doggies of Isfahan: Iran Clones a Calf

“Director of Royan Research Laboratories in the city of Isfahan announced that Iran has succeeded in cloning the first calf in the Middle East. The calf is said to be in stable condition and in good health for now. The calf is named Beniana. The director said cloning a calf is much more difficult than cloning a lamb or a goat. He said the second cloned calf in the Middle East will be born next week, and will be named Tamina……." So, will it be goodbye nukes and hello little doggies in Iran?
I noticed one difference with how we would announce these breakthroughs on the other side of the Gulf: he did not claim that it was achieved because of the efforts and commitment of Ahmadinejad or Khamenai. Or maybe they want to make sure the doggie survives.
