The Un-Gitmo: Speedy "Justice" in Iran. CIA Operatives Gone "Japanese"?

  Iran, Baluchis, and sleeper agents:
                                                                                            Can he win Florida?
Last week an explosion rocked a mosque in the Iranian city of Zahedan, killing tens of civilian worshipers. The authorities were quick to arrest the suspects. There have been in the past other incidents of terrorism in the Zahedan area, which is within the Baluchistan region. Iranian Baluchis are mixed, as there are Sunnis and Shi'as, but proximity to the Pakistan border is probably significant in this matter. The Pakistanis have also had problems with their own Baluchi autonomy-seekers. But these bombings have been 'credited' to the Jund-allah (soldiers of Allah) Sunni Salafi extremist group.

In the past Iranians had accused the Bush administrations of fomenting terrorism in their minority regions (Baluchistan, Kurdistan).
Maybe some CIA operatives have gone 'Japanese', and are still hiding in the caves of Baluchistan, not aware that there is a new administration in Washington.

Anyway, the Iranians announced the excution of three 'convicted' of the latest bombing. That means it took only three or four days to catch, try, convict, and execute them. This is a record unmatched in Iran since the days of the murderous 'revolutionary' courts of judge Khalkhali right after the Shah was overthrown. This may indicate that Iranian officials are worried enough about these Sunni fundamentalist groups to 'speed up' their justice system- which makes it rather unjust.
As someone else, somewhere, must have said: justice delayed and justice hurried (as in lynch mobs) both may mean justice denied.
Cheers
