Egypt’s War on Swine and Israeli Wives: Light at the End of the Tunnel. GOP Tries Churchill

A light at the end of the tunnel for Egypt’s war on pigs:
Egypt close to its goal of executing all pigs after pig-farmers ‘surrendered’. Half of all native swine eliminated one day before the deadline… alarabiya
This must be the first time anybody surrenders to the Egyptian army in, oh, almost three thousand years. For some reason most pig farmers in Egypt are trash collectors: nobody has been able to explain this- maybe it has to do with the eating habits of the pigs. Officials claim that so far 79 thousand pigs have been ‘taken out’- and they don’t mean dating either. They claim that 78,215 pigs remain unmolested- not clear how they got the number if they have not caught the culprit pigs yet. Previous media reports indicated that the swine were often killed en masse by chemicals then bulldozed in mass graves. Not sure what Saddam would say about that if he were alive.

A conjugal matter of national security:
A group of Egyptian lawyers have gone to court and obtained a judicial decision that requires the government to withdraw the Egyptian nationality from anyone who marries an Israeli…. The case was brought by a famous lawyer Mohammed al-Wahsh (the beast)….The ruling agreed that the increased number of Egyptians marrying Israeli women could compromise the country’s national security… Arab media, May 19.

Steele Sends a Dear Barack Letter- GOP Tries a Chruchillian Tack:
Michael Steele, RNC chairman, yesterday practically sent President Barack Obama his divorce papers. He said the honeymoon is over, barely four months into the deal, with nothing common conceived yet between the two parties. He then tried a Churchillian approach to the ‘struggle’ against Democrats, saying something about fighting them for every street, for every tax cut, against every reform. Churchillian prose does not become Republicans, has not since Teddy Roosevelt. The last president, with the country under attack, told the American people to ‘go shop until they drop’. Not ver inspiring, but very Republican- Republican of the post-Eisenhower, post-Rockefeller, even post-Goldwater type.
Cheers
