Saudi media is spending much more time covering Lebanon and its politics than covering Saudi affairs. In fact these days they seem to be obsessed with Lebanon, as if it is their political and diplomatic Maginot line. This is probably due to the fact that  most Arab media cannot discuss domestic affairs in any detail nor with any candor, they can only heap praise on the oligarchy and its potentates, which would be interesting only to the, well, oligarchy and the potentates.  

This is also due to the fact that they have spent a lot of money trying to influence the outcome of the June elections, just as other powers have invested in the opposition, and they are nervous about it- as they probably should be.
